PROFICIENCY IN SURVIVAL CRAFT & RESCUE BOAT (PSCRB)

Duration: 5 Days (31 hours)

The course is mandatory for all Deck officers prior issue of Class-3 Deck (CoC).

ADVANCED FIRE FIGHTING (AFF)

Duration: 5 Days (29 hours)

The course is mandatory for all deck officers prior issue of class-3 deck.

MEDICAL FIRST AID (MFA)

Duration: 4 Days (30 hours)

The course is mandatory for all Deck officers prior issue of Class-3 Deck (CoC).

EFFICIENT DECK HAND (EDH)

Duration: 5 Days (36 hours)

The course is mandatory for all Deck officers prior issue of Class-3 Deck.

SHIP SECURITY OFFICER (SSO)

Duration: 3 Days (18 hours)

This course is designed for those shipboard personnel who maybe designated as Ship Security Officer (SSO) as defined Regulation VI / 5 and STCW Code section A-VI / 5, Table A-VI/5 of the STCW 78 as amended in 2010 and as per IMO Model Course 3.19 & 3.23 of the ISPS code. The emphasis of training & instructions deals with providing knowledge and understanding of duties & responsibilities with respect to the security of a ship, and in ensuring, implementing and maintaining the Ship Security Plan in compliance with the ISPS Code and Section A-VI/5 of the STCW Code, as amended.

NAVIGATIONAL AID AND ELECTRONIC NAVIGATION SYSTEM (NAENS)

Duration: 3 Days (18 hours)

The course is mandatory for all Deck officers prior issue of Class-3 Deck (CoC).

MEDICAL CARE (MEDICARE)

Duration: 6 Days (46 hours)

The course is mandatory for all Deck officers prior issue of Class-2 Deck (CoC).

BRIDGE TEAM MANAGEMENT (BTM)

Duration: 4 Days

This course is designed for all deck officers. It deals with management in a highly operational situation onboard ship’s bridges, thus, provide a comprehensive understanding of bridge safe watchkeeping principles, passage planning, and bridge team organization where sound BTM principles should be applied at all stages.

BANGLADESH MERCHANT SHIPPING ORDINANCE (BMSO)

Duration: 2 Days

A certificate of course completion shall be issued to those who shall satisfactorily fulfill the course requirements.

DANGEROUS, HAZARDOUS AND HARMFUL CARGOES (HAZMAT)

Duration: 3 Days

A certificate of course completion shall be issued to those who shall satisfactorily fulfill the course requirements. Certificate of Proficiency is issued by the Department of Shipping on completion of an oral test.

HIGH VOLTAGE INSTALLATION SYSTEM (OPERATIONAL LEVEL)

Duration: 1 Day (7 hours)

This course is intended for engineer officers to give the essential education and training in high voltage installations to meet the requirement set out in the STCW.

HIGH VOLTAGE INSTALLATION SYSTEM (MANAGEMENT LEVEL)

Duration: 5 Days (35 hours)

Course Description: This course is intended for engineer officers responsible for the safe control and management of high voltage power systems for essential education and training in high voltage installations to meet the Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiency (KUP) requirements set out in the STCW: Table A-III/2.

BRIDGE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION OF LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORKING SKILLS (OPERATIONAL LEVEL)

Duration: 3 Days (20 hours)

After completing the course, the candidates should be able to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitude for the safe navigational watch, precautions to prevent hazards, prevention of pollution, firefighting operations, emergencies, fundamental understanding of bridge resource management and to successfully participate in leadership and team exercises, thereby displaying knowledge of leadership, managerial skills, and team working skills.

BRIDGE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGERIAL SKILLS (MANAGEMENT LEVEL)

Duration: 5 Days (35 hours)

This course is designed for all senior officers and ratings as well as senior level shore-based personnel. The modules, instructions and activities imbedded in the course intends to impart know-how and develop aptitude on the use and coordination of all the skills, knowledge, experiences and resources available to the ship’s team to accomplish or achieve the established goals of safety and efficiency of ship’s operation.

ENGINE ROOM RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION OF LEADERSHIP AND TEAMWORKING SKILLS (OPERATIONAL LEVEL)

Duration: 3 Days (20 hours)

This course is to gain a fundamental understanding of engine room resource management and to successfully participate in leadership and team exercises, thereby displaying knowledge of leadership, managerial skills, and team working skills.

ENGINE ROOM RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGERIAL SKILLS (MANAGEMENT LEVEL)

Duration: 5 Days (35 hours)

This course is intended for engineer officers forming a team to work in the engine room and machinery spaces. This training, together with the Basic Safety Training and competency training of the required rank, will enable the engine room personnel to have the mandatory minimum training requirement prescribed in Regulation III/2 under Chapter III and Code Section Table A-III/2 of the STCW 78 Convention, as amended in 2010 and as per IMO Model Course 2.07 and 1.39.

SHIP BOARD SAFETY OFFICER TRAINING COURSE (SOT)

Duration: 4 Days

This course aims to meet the minimum standards I requirements for knowledge, understanding and information about the ISM Code, SOLAS and STCW for safe implementation, practice, equipment’s, incidents/ consequences to achieve our aim as mentioned above.

BASIC TRAINING FOR SHIPS SUBJECT TO THE IGF CODE

Duration: 3 Days (24 hours)

The purpose of the course is to provide training to meet the minimum mandatory requirements for training and certification for Masters, officers, ratings and other personnel for service on ships using fuels covered within IGF Code, as per regulation A-V/3 and Section A-V/3-1 of the STCW’78 as amended and following guidelines of IMO Model Course 7.13.

ADVANCE TRAINING FOR SHIPS SUBJECT TO THE IGF CODE

Duration: 5 Days (30 hours)

The purpose of the course is to provide training to meet the minimum mandatory requirements for training and certification for masters, deck officers, engineer officer and all other personnel with immediate responsibility for the care and use of fuels and fuel systems on ships using fuels covered within IGF Code, as per regulation A-V/3 and Section A-V/3-2 of the STCW’78 as amended and following guidelines of IMO model course 7.14.
