BASIC TRAINING FOR OIL AND CHEMICAL TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS (TANK. FAM) (OIL & CHEMICAL)
Duration: 5 Days (40 hours)
This course is meant for officers and ratings assigned basic duties and responsibilities related to cargo or cargo equipment on board oil and chemical tankers. By successfully completing this course, the aforementioned shipboard personnel will fulfill the mandatory minimum requirements of Regulation V/1-1 of STCW 1978, as amended.
BASIC TRAINING FOR GAS TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS
(TANK. FAM) (LIQUEFIED GAS)
Duration: 4 Days (30 hours)
This course provides an introduction to liquefied gas tankers and imparts the basic knowledge needed to serve as a member of the crew on this type of vessel and undertake specific duties relating to cargo and cargo equipment. The course is designed to meet the requirements of STCW section V/1-2-1 and is based on the guidelines of the IMO Model Course 1.04.
ADVANCED TRAINING FOR OIL TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS
(ATOT)
Duration: 8 Days (60 hours)
This course provides training for Masters, chief engineer officers, chief mates, second engineer officers and any person with immediate responsibility for loading, unloading care in transit, handling of cargo, tank cleaning or other cargo related operations on oil tankers. The course takes full account of Section A-V/1-1 paragraph 3 of the STCW Code.
ADVANCED TRAINING FOR CHEMICAL TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS (ATCT)
Duration: 8 Days (60 hours)
This course provides training for Masters, chief engineer officers, chief mates, second engineer officers and any person with immediate responsibility for loading, unloading, care in transit, handling of cargo, tank cleaning or other cargo related operations on chemical tankers. The course takes full account of Section A-V/1-1-3 of the STCW Code 1978, as amended.
ADVANCED TRAINING FOR LIQUID GAS TANKER CARGO OPERATIONS (ATGT)
Duration: 8 Days (60 hours)
The course aims at providing training at an advanced level for Masters, Chief Engineer Officers, Chief Mates, Second Engineer Officers and any person onboard Liquefied Gas tankers who have immediate responsibility for the loading, discharging, care in transit and/or handling of the cargo, as established by the Regulation V/1‐2., paragraphs 4.3, section A‐V1‐2 paragraph 2 and Table A‐V /1‐2‐2 , of the International Convention on Standards of Training certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended.
The aim of this course is to ensure that mariners are trained and prepared to respond safely and efficiently for controlling the cargo handling and other operations on Oil and Chemical Tanker in compliance with the requirements of STCW-95,MARPOL 73/78, Oil Tanker Cargo and Ballast Handling Simulator(IMO MODEL COURSE 2.06) and other international conventions.
This course provides seafarers with essential education and training in firefighting onboard tankers (oil, chemical, or liquefied gas) to meet the knowledge, understanding and proficiency requirements set out in STCW Tables A-V/1-1-1 and A/V/1-2-1 for oil and chemical tankers and liquefied gas tanker cargo.
