This course is dedicated toward Senior Officers (deck and engine). It focuses on providing knowledge and understanding of the essential requirements, liabilities, duties, and challenges in managing shipboard/ shipping operation.
COURSE AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
The course aims to provide a general overview of applicable laws & regulations as well as procedures & methods that support and assist shipboard management team to effectively utilize and manage the resources available in decision making and in achieving the overall objective of shipping companies.

METHOD:
Course lessons and instructions are given by several lecturers; each one is a specialist on their respective subject area(s).
ENTRY REQUIREMENT / TARGET GROUP:
Entry to the course is open to all experienced officer holding a senior position or intending/nominated to occupy senior/management level position.
COURSE CERTIFICATE:
A Certificate of Completion is given to each candidate who satisfactorily fulfills the Course. Certificate of Proficiency is issued by the Department of Shipping on completion of an oral test.
