Sheikh Salman Rahim Rifat, a passionate individual with a deep interest in mechanical engineering, completed his secondary school certificate (SSC) and higher secondary certificate (HSC) from Dhaka Residential Model College. Eager to expand his knowledge and contribute to the field, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the esteemed Military Institute of Science and Technology.
During his academic journey, he discovered his affinity for Fluid Mechanics and CAD, which quickly became his favorite subjects. His fascination with the dynamics of fluids and the intricate design of machines propelled him to delve deeper into these areas of study.
At the Military Institute of Science and Technology, Salman’s leadership qualities shone through as he assumed the role of debate captain for the mechanical engineering department. This experience not only honed his critical thinking and communication skills but also nurtured an environment of intellectual growth and collaboration among his peers.
Currently, Salman holds the position of lecturer of mechanical engineering at IMA (International Maritime Academy). And he also taking classes for some courses (Applied Mechanics )of Bangladesh Maritime Training Institute (BMTI) as a part of resource sharing between IMA & BMTI.
In this role, he shares his knowledge and expertise with students, inspiring them to explore the exciting realm of mechanical engineering. Through his dedication and commitment to fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment, Salman aims to guide his students toward success and help them unlock their full potential.
With a strong educational background, a penchant for Fluid Mechanics and CAD, and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers, he strives to make a positive impact in the field of mechanical engineering and inspire others along the way.
