The Engine Room Simulator is comprised of i) MAN B&W MC-C engine Propulsion Plant, ii) MAN B&W ME-C engine propulsion plant, iii) Electric Power Plant including HV system, iv) Integrated Control & Monitoring System (ICMS), v) auxiliary systems, equipment, units and mechanisms of a general Tanker LCC (Large Crude Oil Carrier) & Container vessel.
The Tanker LCC simulator model has the Propulsion console and Virtual Hardware console comprising all displays to control and monitor the ship’s systems, units and mechanisms. The simulator of the Container vessel models the Propulsion console comprises all software facilities to supervise the vessel systems, units and machinery.
The simulator models the Ballast water treatment system and exhaust gas scrubber system as per new requirement of IMO. It fulfills the STCW amended requirements for both operation and management level marine engineers.
