Bangladesh Maritime Training Institute (BMTI) proudly inaugurated its IGF Code – Methanol Bunkering Simulator on 10th November 2025. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Commodore Md. Shafiul Bari, (ND), ndc, psc, BN, Director General, Department of Shipping, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. We were also honored by the presence of Capt. Masanori Okada, Director, Talent Development, ONESEA Solutions Pte. Ltd., as the Special Guest. This milestone marks a significant step toward advancing Bangladesh’s maritime training capabilities and embracing cleaner, sustainable fuel technologies for the next generation of seafarers.
