IMA was honored to host Commodore Md. Shafiul Bari, (ND), ndc, psc, BN, the newly appointed Director General of the Department of Shipping.

Accompanied by Captain Md. Giasuddin Ahmed (CNS) and our Managing Director, the Commodore conducted a comprehensive tour of all our facilities. He was thoroughly impressed by our high standards of training, a testament that fills the entire IMA team with immense pride.

He also showed a keen interest in BMTI, engaging with faculty and students to gather valuable feedback. The Commodore was particularly impressed with BMTI’s commitment to supplementing its curriculum with state-of-the-art simulators, commending the institution’s dedication to modern training methods.
