Course Title: BRIDGE ENGINE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Duration: 18 Hours

The syllabus for this course is in accordance with and satisfies Regulation VIII/2 of the STCW for seafarers, 1978 as amended in 1995 and 2010 and section B-VIII/2 of the STCW Code.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT / TARGET GROUP:

The course is intended for Deck and Engineering Officers at both operational and management levels.
Training facilities and equipment:

A well lighted air conditioned class room with adequate seating arrangement is arranged to accommodate the trainees . Besides full mission bridge simulator with engine room simulator will be available for training purpose . Various case studies will be presented where errors relating Bridge and engine resources management resulted the maritime disasters.

COURSE CERTIFICATE:

A Certificate of Completion is given to each candidate who satisfactorily fulfills the Course. Certificate of Proficiency is issued by the Department of Shipping on completion of an oral test.
